Route Map, Elevation, Description & Photos

Russell and I did this walk at the beginning of July starting at 7AM, by 18.15 it was already 29C. I have done a longer walk in this area in the winter which was better not just because of the temperatures but also the views. That said I do like photographing the wheat fields.
we actually walked this route clockwise which is more difficult as there are more hills. If we had done it the way it is planned, then we would have had two short hills near the beginning and a gentle hill back into the village at the end.
The walk was on a mix of surfaces, tarmac, wide tracks and rough tracks. There was also a section of goat track that had been a little overgrown with grass though you could still see the track. In terms of wildlife we saw a lot of birds and unfortunately a dead hedgehog. All in all this was quite a nice walk, not too physically difficult. Though I had to pay attention to the navigation as there were a lot of intersecting tracks on the way round and the route didn't always follow the more defined or wide tracks.
