The first KM of this trail was on the Atalanta trail, I nearly missed the turning up hill as there was a tree blocking the track where we turned. I have done this route in Autumn, Winter and Spring.
The most physically difficult section was where we left the Atalanta trail and hiked up hill to join the Artemis trail. (hard going in deep snow)
Once on the Artemis trail it was pretty easy going with mainly wide tracks. There was however some narrow sections and like the Atalanta trail there were rocks in the floor which presented a trip hazard. We passed the various ski slopes on the way round, the section of the trail near the North Face ski slope was particularly rocky. The route eventually went full circle and we dropped down on to the Atalanta trail and back into Troodos again.
