Kathikas Western 9KM Circular (Witches Gorge)

Well what a treat, some fabulous views on this walk. Distant valleys and rock formations. The route consisted of tarmac and good tracks all the way around. The first half was easy going as it was basically a gentle descent. The walk levelled out through the gorge and then it was a steady climb back up before heading to the right and traversing the hill side to the end which I thought was quite easy.
I started this walk on the Vasilikan Winery road but it could easily be started from Kathikas village carpark that would add around 3KM on to the route.
Overall a very enjoyable walk a little challenging but not too much.
